workout of the week: quick cardio crunch

These days there are so many ways to learn about how to lose weight. You don’t necessarily have to go to a gym and pay a personal trainer to tell you how to exercise anymore. Instead, you can just go to a website, like YouTube and search for videos that teach you various fat reducing exercises for free. All you need is the motivation to follow the instructions of the person on the video. All of the fitness gurus that do these videos have a different style behind their exercise routine. For example, Jillian Michaels is a famous personal trainer that has gotten the reputation for being America’s toughest trainer. That is because she pushes the people she trains to their limit and makes sure they don’t give up. A great exercise video of hers is Jillian Michaels Body Revolution Workout. Now if you want a video that is more exciting and aimed at total beginners then you could go with the classic Richard Simmons Party off the Pounds video. This has more dancing and jiggling, which people may like if they want entertainment value involved. He also has another one called “Blast Off!” which gives people an intense and quick 20 minute cardiovascular workout.

For those of you that care more about weight lifting, there are plenty of videos for that on YouTube. There is a classic movie called “Pumping Iron,” which was made in the 1970s and features Arnold Schwarzenegger when he was a competitive weight lifter. This shows you all the underground truths behind weight lifting and is great for those that want to get into it themselves. If you want something more recent, you can watch a series of Ronnie Coleman videos that shows him working out. He is a record breaking former Mr. Olympia, so you can be sure his workouts are something to learn from.
