If you want to keep your heart healthy, then eating all natural foods is the only solution. These are foods that come from nature, like vegetables, fruits, grains and lean meats. They will give your body all the essential vitamins and minerals that it needs without any negative consequences in return. For example, if you were to eat a bowl of Raisin Bran cereal, then you would get a high dose of sugar in addition to the essential vitamins. People are often confused by this because they see cereal like this advertised as being good for your heart and health. These advertisements don’t talk about the negative part of the cereal. That is why you need to be able to judge for yourself about what food is good and what is not. When you are in the grocery store, always look at the ingredients of the foods that you are buying. Chances are if it comes in a box, then it is not natural anyways. You should be hanging out in the produce, meat and seafood sections only. These are the foods that will keep your heart strong.
Red Meat Controversy
Sometimes when people talk about natural foods, there will be some that debate “red meat” as being healthy and natural. After all, red meat does come from an animal the same as white meat. So, doesn’t that make it natural? Technically this is true, but you have to realize that red meat does have a lot of saturated fat in it as well. There are a lot of things that are technically natural, but still bad for you. When people refer to natural foods for a healthy heart, they mean natural foods that don’t have saturated fat. Please remember this because saturated fat is one of the main reasons why arteries get clogged, which increases your chances of getting a heart attack.
